MANAGEMENT
The management section enables your company to evaluate the extent to which issues covered by the UN Global Compact principles are anchored in the company strategy and integrated in decisions and management systems. In addition to this section, it is recommended to answer the questions in the other four sections that assess your company’s performance against international standards, conventions and agreements, and provide inspiration for continuous improvement within human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
The section covers management of all ten principles and includes:
Regulatory compliance
Impact assessment
Policy
Decision-making procedures
Worker involvement
Suppliers and business partners
Community development
Grievance mechanisms
Communicate to stakeholders
This section is inspired by the UN Global Compact Management Model that describes which steps companies should take once they have committed to the Global Compact. It is further aligned with the Global Compact Advance level reporting criteria.
